Professional Pilot Program

  • Our Pricing

Riverside Flight Center is unique in the flight training and pilot school industry.  Other schools offer flight training course costs based on per-hour flight training, allowing them to list prices based on minimum certification requirements, making their course prices attractive to unaware students.  This has a two-fold effect:  Tempting course costs with average flight instructors providing inferior training requiring high course completion times.

Riverside Flight Center's extensive experience providing flight training to students from around the world has allowed us to develop a unique program where the course fee is based on the average student.  Our pricing structure is NOT based on per-hour flight training at the minimum certification requirements, rather, a student who completes training in a typical situation. This has a two-fold effect:  Predictable course costs with exceptional flight instructors providing outstanding training resulting in accelerated course completion times.  You can bet the average student at Riverside Flight Center, who remains within our guidelines and Terms and Conditions, will complete training in 6 months.

What really sets Riverside Flight Center apart when this price is considered is your accommodation, transportation, books and coursework materials, testing fees, medical certification and your entire course of ground and flight training are included in this program price.

You won't find a better deal providing the exceptional training with the success stories we have at any other school.

  • Top Pilots

The training you receive at Riverside Flight Center is not just for a rating or certification.  You’ll use it for your entire aviation career. Graduates of Riverside Flight Center are consistently placed in top positions at airlines throughout the world.  The standards and stages of training throughout our Professional Pilot program ensure your success.  Our unblemished safety record supports our claim of quality, accelerated flight training – a claim other schools can’t make.

We are committed to providing excellent, unparalleled ground and flight training that makes you stand out among others competing at an airline interview for pilots.

Our training courses are fully certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States, meaning you'll be able to convert your license back home without having to worry.  Riverside Flight Center is fully accredited under FAA Part 141, meaning our proprietary curriculum has been evaluated and determined to meet the exacting standards outlined by the FAA for pilot schools.   Additionally, because of RFC's demonstrated excellency as a primary flight training provider, we've been certified by the FAA to issue pilot certificates (a privilege called Examining Authority) without further testing for graduates of our Private Pilot, Instrument Airplane, and Commercial Pilot Multi-Engine Airplane courses.  This unique level of certification is only allowed to a select few schools that demonstrate over a 90% first-time pass rate on pilot certification tests.  Riverside Flight Center is the only international flight training provider offering guaranteed programs to achieve Examining Authority.

You won't find higher quality training that is guaranteed and offered at our competitive price anywhere else.

  • Riverside Flight Center believes transparency about our program is critical for students to succeed.  Therefore, please understand the following:

Becoming a pilot involves two basic methods of training, with each involving tests and examinations:

    The Classroom Method

One method, the theory, is learned from written exams, books, lectures and other common classroom teaching techniques.  We call this method ground training, and you will experience ground training throughout your stay at RFC, and throughout your career as a pilot.  Just as some people learn differently going through primary school and secondary education, students wanting to become a pilot experience the same differences.  We find students who are motivated, with a focus and drive to study, follow the instructor’s advice and complete assignments as directed, excel at RFC.  Each student is different and will progress at different rates, which can ultimately affect course fees.

    The Experience Method

The other method, the skill, is learned from practical experience in Flight Training Devices, one-on-one drills, and in airplanes.  We call this method flight training, and you will experience flight training in stages at RFC, after the required theory is proficient.  Just as some people learning how to ride a bicycle, drive a car, or swim learn at different rates, students learning to fly will progress differently and find some stages challenging or easy.  We find students who are motivated, focused, follow the instructor’s advice, practice on their own time, and fly regularly excel at RFC.  Each student is different and will progress at different rates, which can ultimately affect course fees.

In the unlikely event that you need additional training outside of the course completion times listed above, our reduced rates in the respective category (flight, ground, FTD, instructional) are calculated per-hour.

RFC's program is designed for the typical, average student.  Most of our students have no experience as a pilot, with either theory or skill, meaning most of our students are the typical, average student.  No one likes to think they are typical or average - you are unique!  The staff at Riverside Flight Center are experts in providing unique, exceptional, accelerated and guaranteed flight training to students from around the world.  We want you to succeed in your career as a pilot, and make your training and safety our priority.

We make every effort to provide exceptional, accelerated training at the price you agree to pay on your contract.
